This explains what Chatters Palace collects about you, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible for your data
Chatters Palace decides what is collected here and why. If you have a question about any of it, the contact details are at the bottom of this page.
What we collect, and when
When you browse the site. Nothing that identifies you. If you arrive through a recruiter link, we store that recruiter’s code in your browser so your join can be credited to them for up to a month. It stays on your device and we can only read it back as an anonymous code.
When you take the typing test. Your Discord username, the single-use link Crown issued you, and your results: words per minute, accuracy, word count, reply count, and timing. We also record that you confirmed you would take the test yourself.
When you apply. The answers you give in your application ticket: your name, country, Telegram handle, and how you work, including the number of creators you handle, the size of accounts you have run, the software you use, your availability, and whether you currently work elsewhere.
If you join the recruiter program. Your recruiter link and code, who joined and was hired through it, your reward balance, and the crypto wallet address you give us to be paid.
When you talk to us. The messages you send in tickets or DMs to Crown, which we may keep as a transcript so there is a record of what was agreed.
Why we use it
Each thing we collect maps to something we actually do:
- run the test and issue a fair, single-use result;
- review your application and decide on next steps;
- pay chatters and recruiters, and keep the records that requires;
- credit recruiter referrals to the right person;
- answer your questions and support you while you work with us; and
- spot cheating, fake applications, and fraud, and keep our systems secure.
Your test results and the leaderboard
Strong results may be shown on our public leaderboard. If you would rather not appear under your full handle, ask us and we will show you anonymously or under a shortened name. Your detailed score, the accuracy and timing behind it, stays internal to the team either way.
Payments and wallet data
Recruiter rewards are paid in crypto to the wallet address you give us. We store that address encrypted, and use it only to pay you. Because payouts settle on a public blockchain, the transactions themselves are visible on that network. That is how the technology works and is outside our control. Never share private keys or a seed phrase with anyone, including us; we only ever need your public receiving address.
How long we keep it
We keep what we collect only for as long as we have a reason to keep it: to run your application, support you while you work with us, and keep the payment records our payouts require. When we no longer need something, we remove it, and you can ask us to remove your data sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The quickest way is to open a ticket or message us on Discord. We will do what you ask unless we are required to keep something (for example, a payout record), and if so we will tell you what and why. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain uses, or to complain to your local data protection authority.
How we protect it
We built the backend to keep this data safe: database queries are parameterised, test links are stored only as one-way hashes and can be used once, payout wallet addresses are encrypted at rest, and access to the database and staff tools is limited to the people who run recruitment. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously and design for it.
Age
The site and the work are for adults. You must be at least 18 to use the test or apply, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has contacted us, tell us and we will delete what we have.
Cookies and browser storage
The one thing we store in your browser is the recruiter code described above, kept for a month so a referral is not lost between the day you read the page and the day you join. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.
Changes to this policy
When we change how we handle data, we update the “last updated” date at the top and, for anything significant, post a note in our Discord. The current version is always the one on this page.
